A Legacy of Independence.

Sports have always been a big part of Marcus’s life. His uncle played for the Denver Broncos, and he was forever inspired to work hard, stay in shape, and do his best. That dedication paid off when colleges started recruiting him to play for them. The skillset he developed through dedicated practice, persistence, and honing his craft allowed him to transition to the financial world where those same characteristics are rewarded.
Marcus became a financial professional to help offer people what they needed. He quickly realized that most investment companies have their own agenda. Instead of pushing a corporate menu, he knew he wanted to provide tailored advice and options to his clients. The only answer was to become an independent financial professional.
Nyimah followed a different path but came to the same conclusion. She spent 15 years in the big box business world with companies like LVMH, Macy’s, and L’Oreal. She started as a customer service rep and ended as a regional executive, learning top-tier leadership and business development skills along the way. One thing she didn’t learn was how to remove integrity from her job. The realities of corporate politics and sales weren’t always conducive to Nyimah’s vision of integrity. She made the decision to leave corporate America and amplify her life’s assignment to empower women to advocate for themselves personally, professionally, and financially.
Marcus and Nyimah found that the problems they were trying to solve were best faced together. Their combined skill sets gave them the tools and experience they needed to form a true independent partnership. Independence has been the key to their success, allowing them to give their clients the full range of options they deserve. They believe a financial professional who claims to be able to give you financial independence should have gotten it for themselves.

Marcus, a native Floridian, credits his small town upbringing for helping him appreciate hard work. After attending Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University where he studied Business Management with a concentration in Finance Marcus developed his ethos by helping individuals implement retirement plans throughout the University of Florida, Daytona State College and other institutions of the like. During this experience, Marcus sharpened his skill set as a Financial Advisor and drilled down on his passion for helping individuals prepare for retirement in retirement.
Since launching Robinson Financial Group, an Independent Wealth Management Firm, Marcus leans heavily on his value system and years of expertise to help his clients develop a strategy that can help to build, balance, and preserve their wealth and legacy, their way.

A former Fortune 500 Executive, Nyimah brings over a decade and a half of experience in the business world to Robinson Financial Group. Her passion for supporting women investors and families drives her strategic leadership within the organization and implementation of the firm’s objectives. Clients are her favorite part of her role at Robinson Financial Group!
When she’s not watching her favorite Netflix marathon, Nyimah enjoys yoga, girl time with her four children- Arianna, Yael, Zaharah and Amarah. She also in her spare time enjoys reading her latest book purchase. She loves a good date night with her husband too.
A New York City native, Nyimah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Masters in Business Administration.
